Established in 2012, R Brooks Plastering is a small Nottingham-based company built on one thing: quality workmanship you can rely on. We carry out the majority of our work across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, and travel further afield when needed.
Every job is undertaken by a fully qualified and insured tradesman, and we take real pride in a high-quality, clean and tidy service.
Meet the team
Richard Brooks
Richard started his career at 16 with an NVQ2 in Bricklaying. Working alongside tradesmen across many disciplines, he found a genuine love of plastering — and never looked back. With over 15 years of experience, he now brings a full repertoire of skills to every home project, from improving the look of a room to boosting its insulation value.
Richard attends evening classes, earning Level 1 & 2 Diplomas in plastering alongside on-the-job experience.
R Brooks Plastering is founded — Richard goes self-employed.
Gains NVQ2 in Plastering.
Achieves NVQ3 in Plastering.
Becomes a Recognised Contractor in External Wall Insulation (EWI).
Expands into Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) and Spray Cork.
